LED LIGHTS FROM NIGHT KING PRO

LED LIGHTS FROM NIGHT KING PRO

In this post I’m going to talk about these cool little LED bike lights from Night King Pro.

You can get them on Amazon and the price is pretty reasonable for the set.

They are small and simple. I leave them on the bike all the time just in case I get caught out riding in low light. Both LED lights attach just via a rubber strap and hook so they couldn’t be easier to put on and get off. You just stretch the strap and hook the strap to its self, adjust the cut outs so light can escape to the sides increasing visibility, and push the center to switch them on and off.

These LED lights are for other people (cars) to see you, not for you to see with. They don’t really light up the road ahead, but plenty bright enough for other road users to see you. Flashing mode is recommended (both front and rear) because it really increases the chance of being spotted. If you ride on dark roads where you need a better view of the surface in front of you, you’ll need a larger stronger head lamp, but keep these lights on flashing setting to assist safety.

Inside the identical casings are two common button batteries which are meant to provide 150 hours life on flashing, which should last most commuters an entire winter. There are little oring seals so they should last in poor weather.

I really like how these LED lights look on my bike. The anodized and machined Aluminum looks cool. Even Cateye lamps are plastic and look bulky on your seat post or handle bars. I think these would good on any bike, and if they come out with red, I might have to get another set…..
